Create a Victorian Photo Fridge Magnet

Fridge Photo Magnet
As of late, I've been working on developing scrapbooking embellishments and Victorian style magnetic photo sleeves.  Recently, I stumbled upon a wonderful scrapbooking program call My Memories.  It is fantastic and is the perfect companion to what I've been doing.

My biggest concern was about the backgrounds for the fridge magnet.  That's when I found My Memories Digital Scrapbooking Software and it became no problem at all.  The background by itself (shown below) is fantastic and actually could easily stand alone in the photo sleeve.

ALL of the elements including the background, frame and grommets are all from the software.  Not only is there a bunch of embellishments to choose from that come with the program, but there are a bunch of FREE ones that you can download and add to the software!!  It was super easy to design on my computer and other than the time it took to go through all the cool embellishments, backgrounds, fonts and everything else, I made this up very quickly!

Better yet, I've been given the opportunity to offer one of my blog readers the software for FREE!  All you have to do is send me an email at kweenbee_crafts@hotmail.ca  and enter the word scrapbooking contest in the subject line.  I will enter your name for the draw on April 30, 2013.

Victorian Inspired Photo SleeveIf you absolutely love this idea, you can put it all together yourself! You can purchase the software for yourself right away and save some money too!  Just enter the promo code: STMMMS73054 at www.MyMemories.com and save $10 off your order!

The crocheted flower and leaf embellishments that I added to the magnetic photo pocket are of my own design and I sell them at my shop on Etsy and at  my own website at KweenBee.com.

If you're not sure where to get the photo pockets, you can buy fridge photo sleeves in any size at any Michaels store or on Amazon. I actually found the ones I use at my local drug store in their photo frame section.
